UX in Play: Indie Game Night

  • Walkthrough Collaborative Centre 10345 Whyte Avenue Northwest, Unit 201 Edmonton, AB, T6E 1Z8 Canada (map)

Join Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) and Interactive Arts Alberta (IAA) for a drop-in Game Night, featuring locally-made games designed and developed by Edmonton’s Indie Design Community. Games are powerful products—they can be designed to challenge or delight, to educate or connect. Come out to get a behind-the-scenes look at how they're made: meet Edmonton-based Game Creators, learn about their game philosophy, and sit down to play! This is a family-friendly event with pizza and snacks included in each ticket.

About the Host: The Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) is a global organization dedicated to advancing the field of user experience (UX) design by connecting designers, researchers, and creators across industries. At IxDF Edmonton, our local chapter, we organize regular events, workshops, and resources that aren’t just about theory, but about building community, exchanging ideas, and designing in real contexts.

Tickets: $25 (admission is free for children under 12)
