In this session, the IxDF Edmonton team will share about how they designed UX in Play—an event series leveraging design practices and user research to help indie game creators heighten player experiences. We broaden the conversation to explore the application of design methodologies across industries, distinctions in approach, and opportunities for greater intersection.

This event is designed to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and relationship building. We invite students and professionals from all industries to join as we discuss the benefits, barriers, and tangible ways we can learn from each other’s practices and toolkits.
